Daniel B. Paulson, CLU®, ChFC®

A Wealth of Knowledge
Dan has provided financial advice to high-net-worth individuals and families for 36 years. Having witnessed and worked through multiple economic cycles and market periods, he brings a wealth of experience to his clients. Dan has built his holistic approach to portfolio management on a foundation of integrity and exceptional service, specializing in the development of tax-efficient investment portfolios for individual and corporate clients.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Baird in 2001, Dan served as Associate Director for one of the largest multinational insurance providers in the country. Dan holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) credential, which allow him to offer additional expertise in insurance, financial planning, and estate planning.
Educational Background
Dan is a graduate of the Investment Consultants program sponsored by Baird at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He received his bachelor’s degrees and master’s degree in corporate finance from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration.
Committed to the Community
Dan and his wife Peggy support several charities. One of their favorite organizations is Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti, which provides free medical, dental, and behavioral health care to uninsured people in need. Dan and Peggy also enjoy spending time outdoors with their three adult children and grandchildren.

Prior to joining Baird in 2013, Al was the senior international trader for a mutual fund company in Birmingham, Michigan, and a financial product specialist and trader in New York City. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University.

Al is a longstanding member of the Birmingham, Michigan, Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Columbus. He lives in Oxford, Michigan, and enjoys restoring classic cars, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Andrew S. Mullins, CFP®

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Andrew provides financial planning solutions for working professionals, retirees, and business owners. He helps clients navigate the ever-changing rules regarding how to access different investment accounts and trusts, and the tax rules associated with those accounts. After a lifetime of accumulating assets, understanding the most efficient way to use those assets is not always clear without deeper analysis. Additionally, Andrew facilitates and implements complex charitable giving and family wealth transferring techniques for Paulson Group clients.
Professional Experience
Andrew started at Baird in 2018 at the firm’s headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his time in the Milwaukee office, he concentrated his time on equity and fixed income research for clients. Andrew also spent time working alongside Baird’s top financial, estate, and tax planning specialists prior to joining The Paulson Group in 2021.
Educational Background
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Miami University of Ohio, graduating magna cum laude. He resides in Birmingham, Michigan, and enjoys playing tennis, hiking, reading, and kayaking. Andrew is a member of the Baird Alpine Ski Team.

As The Paulson Group’s team lead for business operations and administrative projects, Jennifer’s attention to detail ensures clients have the outcomes they require and expect. She works directly with Baird’s operations specialists across the country, achieving high-quality, customized service in a timely manner.
Professional Background
Jennifer began her career at Baird in 2007 and joined The Paulson Group in 2009. Out of Baird’s 902 Client Assistants, Jennifer won the highly competitive “Branch Support All-Star” award in 2023. She enjoys building client relationships and servicing their financial objectives.
Committed to the Community
Jennifer resides in Oakland County, Michigan, with her husband Jason and their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing in northern Michigan, and volunteering with the Red Cross.
Cameron Peel
Client Specialist
Client-Focused Service
Cam joined Baird and The Paulson Group in 2024. As a Client Specialist, he helps clients with service-related needs, such as processing cash transfers, onboarding new clients, and answering account questions.
Professional Experience
Prior to working at Baird, Cam was a Technical Recruiting Intern and Brand Ambassador at Insight Global. Additionally, he worked as a Commercial Real Estate Intern at PB Properties. During his time in the NCAA, Cam secured brand partnerships with companies such as La Colombe Coffee, Liquid IV, and Uptime energy drinks. Cam is fully licensed in financial securities.
Educational Background
Cam holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. He then earned his master’s degree in Sports Law & Business from Arizona State University. While managing his courseload, Cam became a National Champion at ASU Swimming under Michael Phelps’s coach, Bob Bowman, and later went on to swim in the Olympic Trials. Previously, Cam served as Team Captain for the University of Michigan Men’s Swim & Dive Team.
